Has any of the ECU tuners come out with a new ECU flash for the 2009 to compensate for the new intake and exhaust mods?
Right now I have the Fabspeed side muffler by pass pipe but are wanting to get the X pipe, new dual cone Maxflo mufflers and this new intake.
I have tried to get intouch with Softronics but have not heard anything back from them on this.
Thanks!

We currently do not make this air intake system for the 997.1 Carrera.

The X-51 airbox for the 997.1 has two intake ducts. There is a template available with the installation instructions for trimming the deck lid. Apparently not a big deal to modify it. There seems to be another issue with the 997.2. Looking at the picture submitted by GMP, the oil fill in the new generation motor has been relocated. It may be necessary to modify the 997.1 oil fill tube or provide a special bracket.

If so then this would be a pretty easy mod and another customer avenue Fabspeed could explore.

The 997.2 deck lid air ducts appear to be positioned lower on the deck lid (more to the rear) and are rotated 90 degrees versus the 997.1 air duct.

Help me out here...
I see the Pic
I see the heatshield.
What is stopping HOT engine comp air from being sucked in??
I see no isolation.
At least with a stock airbox there is strict isolation and only draws outside air..
