I will track down the disk & make you a copy. I have to find it first, just moved a few months ago and it is still packed away somwhere. I was able to get a bootleg copy of the manual in trade for a Porsche hat. It might take me a couple weeks.

    Hi Michael,

I saw this post of yours regarding changing 997 spark plugs:
"The rear wheels have to be removed. Then a metal heat shield, the coil packs and connector for solenoid hydraulic valves(?) come out. This is shown in pages 826 & 827 of the 997 shop manual.
I have a pdf (huge file of over 127 meg) of this manual on DVD, but can't figure out how to cut the section out to save it as a separate file to email it."

I have a 2007 997 C4S cab. The thing that caught my attention is your mention of the shop manual you have on DVD. I have been buying shop manual procedures from Porsche on their website for $1.80 each, and they don't cover very much. There are hundreds of them, so it gets expensive fast. I hadn't found a shop manual available anywhere.

Would you be willing to either point me to where to get a copy of this DVD or burn a copy for me? I'd be happy to pay you for your trouble if you can burn a copy.

    Thanks for any help!
