What is stopping HOT engine comp air from being sucked in??
I see no isolation.
At least with a stock airbox there is strict isolation and only draws outside air..
Actually the stock plastic air boxes heat up. Ever touch one after out on the track? Yep they are HOT and so is the air inside of the box. The Koni cars either use the Evo cold air box and some use the stock box (due to series rules) all wrapped in heat shield tape.
I might think that this 09 997 intake might work really good because the metal tubes according to Fabspeed stay cool and the air is circulating aound the filters and not being trapped to heat up.
