2008 was down by 25% versus 2007, but at the beginning of model year 2008, didn't Porsche target a 15% reduction in units for North America? or was that for 2009?

The amazing thing is they still sold almost 35000 cars. I wonder what that volume compares with in terms of previous years? Would we have to go back to 2004 to get that volume? Still great sales numbers, just off of an irrational peak.

They only sold ONE GT2, there must be various GT2's around dealers waiting to be picked up... I wonder how dealers are negotiating in this very model...

Almost 35000? That was 2007; 2008 sales were 26000.

Every car manufacturer is affected by this meltdown, of course, some more than others.

..Porsche or the guy who's hours were cut. Additionally, the target of 15% less is that they knew that demand was lower. BTW you got the numbers reversed.

Amazing, you figure that end of the market would be a little more stable. Not one GT3 or GT3RS.

All new GT3s and GT3 RSs have been sold. Not certain about how many untitled GT2s remain on dealer lots, but I doubt it's very many.

The secondary market, however, is saturated with them.

EDIT: looks like there are 17 new GT2s left: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...G=Search&meta=

Thanks for the info, I guess my chances of getting a new GT3 are out the window, I just stick to my lightly modded C2S
