Probably the camera then. I know this car's history and was at the dealer the day car was delivered new to customer. He is one of those customers that was there when car came off the truck and present for PDI etc.

Only way it is a re-spray is if it was damaged in shipping and repaired at port. I am sure a dealer would disclose a thing like that.

Since there is a decent amount of "orange peel" in Porsches clear coat, I don't think those pics are out of the ordinaly for a factory paint job.

Thank you. I am going to adjust the ride height on my car and I think I will set it very close to Mdrums 2009S with the -20PASM or approx 26 front and 26 5/8 rear with a full tank of fuel.

I will consult with Fabryce at GMG in Santa Ana before making my final descision. He is one of the best IMO. I am taking the car to him Wednesday 1-7-09 to get a little work done.

Thanks for the input.

This is how it came out. In layman's measuring it is very close to the new 997.2 Sport PASM height. I also had a set of GMG GT3 adjustable sways installed at the same time.

The work was done at GMG in Santa Ana. Their shop, equipment and personnel are one of the best IMO.

Much better looking than your avatar ride height.

Thanks gota911. I think it looks better too. I hope the lower center of gravity and GMG sway bars offer a performance advantage over stock in spirited driving.

Toomey, the car looks AWESOME! I had the same wheels on my black 2006 997S and they look even better on your car.
Have you had much chance to evaluate the Damptronics yet?

Thanks mdrums. I only drove home from the install and had the OEM equipment in boxes in the cabin of my car so not really. The ride did not feel harsh though so that is a good thing. I have three drives already set for the last 2 weekends of the month so I will have a good opportunity to evaluate them then.

Thanks, I'm sure you will love the ride! I fly out to LAX Tuesday evening. I want to drop into GMG to see their operation and check out the race cars!
