Default First drive 2009 Carrera S

Picked up our 2009 Carrera S this weekend and these are the pics from the first drive. Throttle response and ride quality seem to be improved from our previous 997S. Also, I'm happy with the Sport Shifter and PCCBs. Overall, we are very pleased with our choices.

Nice. PCCBs go well with speed yellow. Congrats on your new ride.

Nice...I love the lower Sports PASM too. Do you track the car with PCCB's? Thos are a huge investment.

What other options did you get?

Enjoyed the comments. My 2009 Carrera S is scheduled for completion Thanksgiving week. Porsche usually tries to get as many cars to the states before the end of the year as possible ( comment from my sales manager) so there is hope I might see it by the last week of the year. That said I lived in Germany for three years and I know how they love the holiday season. We shall see. At least I have the Cayman S to drive while I wait.

Thanks for all the kind remarks. I added a few subtle accents to the all black interior: Rear Center Console Painted Extr Color, Instrument Surround Painted Extr Color, Instrument dials in black.

Beautiful car. It's ashame that you have to keep the plate on the front bumper. Same law applies here in NJ but I keep the plate under my passenger seat just in case.

Wow.... very nice....congrats to you!
And thanks for sharing the shots.
The side profile with the CS II wheels is helpful ... I'll assume OE, no spacers?

Per ride height ... regular PASM? (not Sport 20mm?)
TIA
