I placed an order with Eric for clear sidemarkers, rejex, and a red S to go on my CB C4S. The S came thru with overspray on the back side so it wasnt sticky anymore. After I screwed it up trying to re-install new 3m double sided tape, Eric sent me out another one in the mail no questions asked, also providing a pre- addressed postage paid return for the one I screwed up. During the initial order the S was delayed a few days for painting and I was notified via email of the delay and reason. I forward this email to my dealer as a good example of a company doing business with a tiny order and they might think about doing the same thing for 100K cars. Thanks Eric
PS I tried to upload a picture of said S on car but couldnt sign into the upload area on rennlist
Looks great was thinking of also getting the red "S" for my basalt black how difficult is it to a) get the old one off, and b) the new one on there straight
Still can't post my picture for some reason. Eric recommended dental floss to remove the S (worked like a charm) Then most of the remaining rubber rolled right off. I removed excess with Acetone after testing elsewhere, then washed area with dish soap, then again with acetone before applying S. Piece of cake line it up and press. The 4 S lines up a bit different but looks great !
It's very easy.
Remove Silver S by gently "sawing" underneath it with dental floss (won't scratch car).
Take off remaining glue residue with Goo Gone (or similar product).
This left me with a vague outline of where the S used to be, which, rather than polish off, I used to spot the new S after cleaning the surface.
So, the new one is exactly where the OEM one was positioned.
Whole thing took about 10-minutes.
