Sounds damn fare to me. What's to loose?
With other companies charging big $$ with no real way to refund software.
I'd love to try one, but now, I'm in search of Bridgestone RE050A's which are harder to find than Osama.
Those looking to even try flashing the ECU, I'd go for it!

Dyno numbers can be fudged, and alot depends on the before and after condition, mods on the car, tiptronic or 6speed, etc. What I have done with other customers is flash the car, if you think the product is not worth it, flash it back to stock and return the cable within 10 days of doing it for a full refund.
thanks!

Dan, How does your Softronic compare to the Revo upgrade? I have the Revo chip and have achieved a great lift in performance. It would be interesting to compare the two on a Dyno of the same car and specs.

Great question. Here is how Softronic compares as a whole to EVERY flash company out there.
First Softronic is the only OBDII software that cannot be detected by the factory Porsche scan tool. If Porsche were to hook up to the car, they would not see any instance of the data being altered. 2nd, Softronic gives you the best map the first time. They tune off the factory knock and oxygen sensors. So there is no need to have a "Race" file or reflash for basic mods such as exhaust, intake, different octane gas. The ECU will adjust accordingly. 3rd, Softronic physically goes in and changes each individual table as necessary. Other companies do a "Global" change where they will do a +1 or -2 for example to change the variables across the entire field. This works, but is sloppy. 4th, if you were unaware, your car ships with the "valet" mode from Porsche directly, this is something you can change in your onboard computer, this is not an added advantage with a flash.

Thanks for the note Dan. I didn't know that the ECU reprogrammed on its own with the addition of modifications. Sounds like a great enhancement that performs with such spontaneity.

As soon as I saw this post I remembered reading Walter's post. Am I wrong in assuming that things could vary on a car by car basis? A lot of very happy Softronic customers out there and a few not so happy.
Walter...how long after the flash did your issues start to occur?
On a side note...would also love to see some dyno results.

Also he apparently posted this same information/complaint under different handles on 6speedonline where he has been banned.
In fact his linked thread has been terminated.
