Softronic ECU Flash - Waking Up Your 997

"On the 997 C2 3.6L, expect gains of around 20HP and 22ft/lbs of torque to the crank. The 3.8L gains around 30HP and 35ft/lbs of torque to the crank"
if this is so good, why doesn't Porsche use it?

Because Porsche tunes the car conservatively for the world market where fuel quality can vary. They also tune the car for all sorts of drivers, climates, EPA , fuel mileage and so forth.

Sure, I have EVOMS supercharger installed and I found out it will not improve on the performance I already have. I wanted to get it to another member for a small price but it now appears that Scott from Softronic will not allow it to be transferred to another member. Basically, he says I have you use it since I won it from the Softronic competition. There were no rules listed at to this, so basically it goes to waste.

Given that there were NO RULES if you win you should be able to do what you want with it IMO. Also noteworthy is the sellers intent to sell "at a minimal price". From the customer side I would be reluctant to buy from a vendor such as this.

I do blame Scott. I won the software and there were no rules stipulating what I could or could not do with the software. I elected to sell it to another member for a minimal price. I found a buyer that was more than happy to do so. Scott decided not to allow me to do to. That is disingenuous for sure. If he wanted to limit it only to me he should have stated so in the rules.
Question: If you won a valuable door prize and could not use it would you donate it back or possibly sell it for a minimal price to someone that expressed interest in buying it from you? Try to answer this honestly.
So I have it, will keep it and it will go to waste.
As for Scott and Softronic, I have certainly lost respect for both and would not recommend anyone do business with them.

I'm sure the offer was intended to build support for the product and increase the company's goodwill, to eventually increase sales. It's doubtful that whomever you sold it to would be inclined to sing the company's praises for the discounted software. I know you feel cheated here, but really...?
