dealer quote on nav
I just got a quote on nav installation for my 2008 C4S...they quoted $ 3,300 installed. Seems a little outrageous...does that sound right?

^^ Yep. It's about right, and yes, it is insane.

Three Wheelin'
NUVI 370 here. I have the nav but hate it. The life cycle of auto nav is so much faster than the life cycle of any auto that it makes no sense to get it pre installed. I am not a tech guy at all, but we should understand that the cars go forever and the gadgets become obsolete pretty quick. That 5 CD changer seems like a buggy whip now. Who wants a factory iPod? Or phone. Not me. Nav is the same thing. Wish they had a gadget delete and dropped back to bose radio and ipod input.

I have four different brands of the larger size units - for reasons for later disclosure - but I like this Mio 520 because it has the most pleasant display and is about 4 credit cards thick.
..the new, larger Sony is fake: big frame around same screen ..I find the Garmin to have a coloring book presentation. ..the TomTom can be the most fun to personalize.
