Has anyone tried any of the waterless car wash products out there? I'm a bit skeptical of them but I'd love to be able to "wash" my car without using water.

Optimum No RInse does work great!
Here's the latest tip.. Use a grout sponge like the ones you find at Lowes or THD. Works great, just keep cleaning the sponge as you apply and wipe on ONR.
Follow with a good QD and your good to go.

Man...so busy at work...haven't washed my 911 in maybe 6 months...thank God it's silver and doesn't look too bad. I barely remember what the wheel colour is.

Unless you push on the sponge or wool mitt. ONR will float off dirt.
You don't want it to be really heavy dirt, but still, it does a wonderful job.
Put it on, dry off, that's it.

+1 on ONR. This stuff is great - worked wonders last year when my city had water restrictions. I had a 2 gal sprayer to pre-wet the car and two buckets of water (one with ONR, one to rinse the mitt). Even though our water restrictions have been lifted, I still use it.

It's sold through people who are in an Amway type arrangement--unfortunately; but the stuff is excellent.

There is also Protect-All Quick and Easy Wash (QEW) which you can find at RV shops. It was used for RV owners needing to wash their RV's with limited water.
The Optimum No Rinse (ONR) is a more current rinseless car wash that has taken the steps QEW did quite a bit further.
What some of us have found is by using ONR with a grout sponge works very well. The best sponge so far was one made by Proline found at Lowes. You can read more over at Autopia on the effects with a grout sponge and ONR:

Just remember that Porsche paint is very soft, so do not push down and wipe, but lightly work the area and re-apply after rinsing the sponge in a rinse bucket which can be changed often as needed for clean rinse water.
Still not sure? Let me show you these images of a truck that had an ONR wash on one side and dirt still on the next panel:

And this one from a different angle:

Follow with your favorite QD and enjoy the level of shine.

I'm in the same boat as Coochas, only I don't even have anywhere outside my condo parking deck to wash my car. In my corner of the parking deck it is entirely too dark to see what I'm doing. That said, can any of you recommend a good CORDLESS portable halogen work light? Many thanks!
