Gang--
Your welcoming of me into the Porsche fold has been tremendous...thank you so much for the encouragement and kindness...
I returned from a quick business trip today and went straight for my garage upon my return...when told of my intent to take a drive, my wife actually asked, "Why?" Some people just don't get this Porsche passion!

What awesome pics. Carmon is pretty sweet....but I have a question.
I was looking at picking up a carmon/grey cab, but a friend said it was a "girly" color.
You guys seem to disagree. What, if anything, is wrong with carmon?

Girly? Are you kidding me? Did you see those pics? That car is gorgeous! I also have a Carmon Red CS and like it very much. That is why I asked earlier if Carmona and Carmon were the same. Actually considered that color for my new C4S but its no longer available.

"Girly" definitely doesn't come to mind for me with this color...I think it's because it's actually a pretty deep, dark color...meaning, it comes off as masculine?
Living in Southern Cal--where there are LOTS of beautiful cars everywhere you look--I have been really surprised by how much attention the color/car combo draws...unsolicited compliments from people in parking lots, at the gas station...and, pedestrians and fellow-motorists that I observe taking double-takes and gazing at the car. I haven't noticed a puzzled expression that conveys, "What a girlie-color!" Though, admittedly, I am not a lip reader...!
