Actually you were right the first time. They changed the name from Carmon to Carmona for the 2007 models. Beautiful car!

Dave--

Now I'm REALLY confused! According to my "Vehicle Options Detail" print-out from the Porsche dealer, Option "E4" is listed as "Carmon Red Metallic." ???

Yes, but prior to '07 it was called Carmona, but was the same color. Go figure!

Welcome...beautiful car. I am a relative newbie, to but this board is extremely helpful and "mature'--most of the time..LOL.

I changed out my side makers. Just don't force things. In your manual see the section on changing bulbs--that is how you change the whole assemblies. Just be sure to use a screwdrivers to "release" the spring clip before puuling the marker out from the body. There are small holes covered with black plugs. Remove the rubber caps and you should get access to place your screwdriver against the retaining clip. Do a search---I ams sure there are more detailed instruction likely with pictures.

Enjoy your cab, enjoy your weather. I have seen nothing of my car other than the cover and the batt. maintainer umbilical cord since December living here in the misrable Midwest. I hate winter and miss my 997S.

Thanks, everyone...appreciate the positive feedback to my car. Someone referred to Carmon(a) Red as "the kiss of death for resale" when I was considering the acquisition. I remember thinking at the time, "I can't be the only person whose heart beats faster when he sees that color!" I certainly gained enough perspective from Rennlist users that you can't be too focused on "resale"--whether it's the options, color, etc. Ultimately, it's what makes YOU happy...what moves YOU.

resale--we don't need no stinkin resale. Who would ever want to sell one of these great cars ? LOL.

Seriously--just enjoy what moves you. If your heart flutters everytime you look at your car, that will be worth whatever potential nick you might take having not chosen one of the colors on the best resal value list. I have never bought a car based on resale value. I buy what hits me and deal with it later.

( and for the record, I am not even close to the earning demographic being kicked around on the forum)

The side markers just pop out and slide backwards. Its about a 2.5 minute install.
Probably the easiest mod I have ever seen.

Well done! Love the color, both outside and in. Great choice in wheels as well!
