Default Looking for Recommendations for CA dealer

Hello,

I'm looking for some recommendations for a CA dealer that will give a reasonable discount on 997 or 997S Coupe.

Last time I tried (about 6 months ago) the ones I visited wouldn't offer more than 2000 off and a price several thousand dollars below what my trade-in should have been worth according to the various pricing guides on the internet.

I also experienced a very rude sales manager at one dealer who showed me a bogus dealer price and proceeded to tell me how high his overhead was.

I got frustrated and decided to keep the M3 a bit longer--now I'm ready to try again.

Thanks,

Gene

Good luck - Trying to find something in SoCal was a watse of my time. I went out of state and when I get my next P-car I will do the same. Sell your M3 privately. It will take longer but you'll get more than a dealer will offer.

Start calling dealers in the fly-over states.

I went out of state as well after trying several dealerships. But soon found out they were not much better either!

We offer boutique broker services for our Porsche enthusiast customers (I'm a licensed DMV dealer). We're able to access cars (even the newest one's) flowing from Porsche financial services (and dealer network inventory overflow) through Manheim dealer only auctions nationwide. You get the car you want at actual wholesale auction cost (a not to exceed amount we preestablish in advance based on same car historical auction sales) + 5% broker fee and misc. DMV fee's, transport if applicable. The newest cars are of course covered under warranty and will additionally be certified both by Porsche and our own inspection process.

PM if interested.

I live in the LA area and bought my new 2006 997 S Cab from Jon Hyman at Desert European Motors in Rancho Mirage. He is very professional, honest and a straight shooter. Here is his cell # 760-799-4470. He’ll make the deal you are looking for on a new 997. Tell him I said hello.

Good luck,

Steve Giannos

Don't buy from Rusnak!!!! Wouldn't give me a penny off the MSRP ... Most So cal dealers don't have to worry about getting rid of its inventories. Try out of state....

I can point you at a So Cal dealer with '06's in stock at significant discount (10-12%), and a few '07's with about half that amount off.

PM me, I'll give you their web-site and a salesman's name. I've been considering a C4S on their lot. Tough call, though: soon the '07's will be considered a year old so their value will fall more than the discount will cover......

Contact Perry Eyges at Porsche of Oakland. Tell him Andre referred you. I've purchased 2 Porsches and 3 Audis with nothing but excellent customer service and pricing from Perry.
