I really dont like the feel of the leather on the stock wheel...

I can't imagine putting a steering wheel cover on mine. Perhaps you need to take a look at Porsche alternatives (GT3 wheel in alcantara) or after-market wheels and see if one works for you.

If you really have to get a steering wheel cover remember to get the beaded seat cover, the cab meter, and the exotic food air freshener kit to go with it, and of course your car should be in SY to begin with.

you can have your steering wheel recovered with leather.
i always thought the original cover was vinly but it is actually leather even though it doesnt feel like it.
I have felt the thicker steering wheel with the smooth leather and it is much better.
I can refer you to the guy in Los angeles that redid my steering wheel, you can also search for my post I put some pics up...

I get all my accessories like that from J.C. Whitney!
They have a special 911 section now...And when in need of a quick fix, I stop at the car wash . But my real favorite is the new auto section at Target.

I guess I need to do a search on the Alacnatara wheel...

I think you should buy 5 of thise. One for the steering wheel and the other 4 to wrap around your tires. Then, when you are traveling down the road, people with think that 1) your tires are on fire, or 2) you just ran over some members of the Muppit clan. Either way, you WILL get noticed.
