Default Porsche Design Flat Six Watch

I picked up this Guards Red Flat Six Porsche Design watch in Cancun this week. I guess the watch was designed around the 997.

I actually prefer the 6340, but I liked the colors of this one better than the ones they had in the 6340.

It is real/certified. I have all of the paperwork, etc.
It was bought at a reputable shop. Luxury Avenue in Kukulkan Forum in Cancun. It's a high end shopping area with Burberry, Louis Vuiton, etc.
List I think was $2300 or something like that. I paid $1870 total. No tax.
How I got out of there without my wife buying a another purse/bag is beyond me. :-D

Nice watch! Surprised your wife didn't make you get her a watch too - our last trip to Cancun cost us his and hers Breitlings!

Buying watches in Mexico -- funny these purchases are mentioned as late last year while wifey and I were in Cabo, we got drunk at CaboWabo, stumbled over to a watch retailer and bought a nice TAG for me. Couldnt talk my wife into a nice watch, so we bought here a semi nice bracelet

Negotiated a good deal on the TAG plus no tax or shipping

If it's quartz then it's a complete rip-off and probably a genuine Porsche product.

Agreed.
I think the Automatic Version was in the 5K range. Ouch!
I really liked the design of the watch and I didn't have any other watches that had a rubber band like this or with a red face. Plus the fact that it was designed around my car and being guards red I had to get it just for nostalgic reasons. Stupid I know.

I think it's really a great looking watch and looks far better in person than it does in the picture.

My hunt for a stainless steel Daytona in white or black face for MSRP continues......

You should look here for a truly great chronograph that easily outstrips the Daytona in terms of movement design, quality, and cache. You can also get it on a rubber strap. One to think about when the battery on your "Porsche" runs out.

That's the exact reason I bought my Speed Yellow PTC. By the way, if you want to buy some genuine watches at a deep discounted price, you should go to Hong Kong. I only paid $2800 for my PTC.
