Question How many speeding tickets in the last 24 months?

I have a 2006 C2 and find it extremely difficult to drive the posted speed limit. How many speeding tickets have you received in the past two years? Also, how many have got tickets for tinted windows?

Zero & zero. Cops aren't too bad around here on enforcement. That and a V1 radar detector.

Track days are fun, but I would have to be on the track every single day to get it out of my system. Been stopped 5 times in the last 2 years, received 3 tickets. And if I didn't have my radar detector, I would have been stopped probably 3 additional times. And all this was in my '86 911. My 997 is on order.

Zero in all states. I am convinced that no matter how quick and responsive my car is, how alert, and focused I feel that I am there is always someone on the road with greater blissfull stupidity, uncoordinated responses and/or poorly maintained vehicle somewhere...or there is the coyote crossing the road...

10 years ago. Which proves that radar detectors work unlike what those on the cops board think.

Zero. And people wonder why in general Porsche (and other high-performance car) drivers have a bad image. Think about that kid chasing a ball, or the one on a bike, or the mom driving her daughter to dance lessons. If you don't care about them, then think about yourself hitting a deer, coyote, turkey, or other wild animal well in excess of the limit. Take it to the track where everyone knows what the "game" is, where there are people at every corner giving us information on the track ahead of us, etc.

Default Zero. But you didn't hear it from me.

I refuse to participate in this thread because of the extremely high "tempting fate" factor.

I had the blue tooth Calibre Radar and Laser Difuser system installed on my car this pst year. It has a wireless remote control that allows you to program what ever setting you wish. I have a rear and from radar and laser difuser. The laser difuser jams the laser signal when you are first hit. It goes off like a gong . You know when it happens. During this period you have the time to slow down to an permissable speed. Believe they can't get an initial read on you because the laser difuser works very well. The most important thing to remember is not to be out there all by yourself. Have something infront of you. Otherwise drive with some caution. What I also like about the K40 is that the installation is clean. No visible wires, no visible detector for everyone to see. Very sureptitious. Its great. The indicator lights are mounted within the dash. Sharp looking. Check out their web site.http://www.k40.com/
Hope this was helpful
