Is your Remote Sensitive???
My new remote was super sensitive in my jeans pocket
Asked my dealer about it today.
There is a fix that is really simple and it comes from Atlanta.
Separate the head of your remote.
You will see that the circuit board is covered with a gasket.
Dealer said to cut out the center section under the buttons.
I chose just to cut off the nibs that stick up.
That seemed to help alot

Yes. With my remote in my pocket it's super sensitive and I find that I pop my hood a lot in public. I'm not sure how to control it except maybe to put a woolly thing over it. I haven't tried cutting off my nubbies yet which seems a little drastic. I'm just so glad I'm not a teenager.
Thankfully Atlanta found us some relief though.

I was thinking the exact same thing!

I've never heard it called a remote before. However, my wife told me to keep it in my pants in public regardless of what I called it or how sensitive it is. As I'm happily married I guess I should listen to her
