Default New member with Rennworx wheels

Hello everyone. I've been monitoring this forum for a long time. I finally decided to join. I was waiting until I had my new wheels mounted so I would have something to post. The wheels are Rennworx RSL, 8.5 and 11 x 19.

QuickSix: any noticeable change in handling and chassis dynamics with the lighter wheels?

They do look spectacular! Congrats!

About the caps. I agree. New centercaps are on a long list of things to get.

I was hesitant to get the new wheels too. I wanted to see them mounted on a 997 before I purchased, but I think I'm the first one.

Don,

No I haven't noticed any difference. Mainly, because one wheel was damaged in shipping and had to be returned to California. Consequently, my car was side-lined for about 3 weeks. Ideally, it would have been great to drive the car with the old wheels and immediately drive it once the new wheels were mounted. Unfortunately, that was not possible. I did weigh the wheels when I picked them up at Fed Ex. The rears are 22.85 lbs and the fronts are 19.55 lbs. Five lug nuts weighed in at .65 lbs. I'm guessing I saved around 14 lbs over stock.
