Agree may not be because it is a "red" car, and it is "automatically" speeding, so lets get radar reading attitude by police. There are so many variables, like the truck example referenced in the above URL.

It's almost silly to think a device's accuracy which is influenced by the color of a car would be permitted as a speed timing device . If this was true, lasers would have been disallowed by Applelate courts. Attorneys would have presented that argument long ago. Color doesn't matter, your reference is refering to detector's ability to distinguish reflected sunlight from that of the laser, not the other way around. Color doesn't effect a given reading on the officer laser gun , not even a laser (the timeing device used by the officer, not the detector). Read the paragraph above the one you posted.
