My car has arrived
I ordered my car on 11/2/05. I pick it up tomorrow.
Cannot wait! My last car was a M5 but I'm really looking forward to the true sports car experience.

Wcanon, welcome! I kind of came out of the M5 into the 997 also (well, in the great 2005 car swap, traded the 993, ordered the 997, ended the M5 lease, bought the SUV, and then bought the 997).
You will notice that the 997 is quite lighter and much more agile. But nothing beats the 'ole M5 surge of acceleration!!!
Do you hear that sound of clicking away? Its the flames coming down the info highway because I posted the part in italics.
