Wink Show us your calipers!

The next great way to accent your color choice. I envision "Caliper color to sample" options. How about some closeups of those brakes! I must admit the caliper color complements the exterior color choice quite a bit.

OK, the car came with the standard black calipers. I painted them red last weekend. I think they turned out well, and I am very pleased with the way they look against the Lapis.

Thanks, Adam. BTW, great job on the SAT radio conversion! Obviously, you were very determined to make it work.

Calipers are looking good!

But I keep on getting drawn to
Jeff's F430.

Back on topic - the Red sets off the Blue very well.

I like the red 4 piston calipers on my 997S. But the massive AMG 8 pistons on the front of my E55 look awesome!

Sorry guys, but that caliper thing is stupid. Mine are red and they are like the taillights and side markers: too much aesthetic attention for their total functional utility.

Porsche just decided to paint them different colors to start us trying to "one up" eachother. Theywant us to compete on this, a ridiculous, "my-car-is-better-equipped-than-yours" level.

My BMW and the non-S looks VASTLY better with black calipers. The wheels really look better on their own, not competing for attention by some ugly (admit it) bolted-on part.

Rant over..., sorry.
