Red = 997 Club Coupe
Silver = Cayenne S
Black = Boxster

It makes it nice when I'm crawling on the ground after a Rugby match and want to know what car I came to the match in I just look for my parking spot and then look at the Calipers of the car I drove in on...

Ben - He meant that his car is silver. MMD stated "Gotta say I don't mind my red calipers but think the car looks significantly better without them (mine's silver)." He was saying his car is silver, not the calipers.

The new line of calipers, specifically targeted at the preppy markets, will be offered in both Madris and traditional Scotch Plaid (PCCB).

on pccb brakes the standard color is yellow but you can get red, silver, and black as well.

Speaking of calipers, I used to own a heavily modified ZR-1 that had a DUAL caliper setup. (Yes, two calipers per rotor on the front wheels). Tons of swept area and tons of braking power. I'll see if I can find any pics. That thing would stop on a dime.

Ohhhhh. I saw the "I don't mind my red calipers..." part but I didn't know if he was referring to another p-car he might own when he mentioned the silver ones. Because there are silver calipers as well. Oh well.

Yessir, they are 2000 model champ car calipers. 8 titanium piston, MMX (metal matrix) and about $4k each. They are less than half the weight of a std. 993 front caliper. Sadly the offset and radial mounting span is wrong for my car. I just had to offer it up to my upright and snap a picture

I don't recognize the celeb on the red carpet (is it your fave Kirsten Dunst?) but I'll look for her this coming Sunday!

The Neiman Marcus special edition Cayenne Turbo S has Burberry plaid seat inserts, and there should be no reason why you couldn't have the brake calipers done to match.
