"tbill" might be for Tony Bill or possibly Treasury Bill (which after purchasing the 911, I no longer have) or maybe "thoughtfull Bill" (not much chance of that)

I'm a bit late to the party but time to own up. Baboou is a takeoff from Peanuts cartoon "Sweet Babboo". A sign at the entrance to our home sez "Welcome to Baboou".

uzj100, when and where were you in Nam? I did my tour "70-71".

am an interloper from the 996 forum but couldn't resist! my user name stems from my car, an 04 Targa (i love cabs but here in the UK the weather doesn't cooperate too often) and my initials. My preferred nickname though is The Earl of Bridgetown, given to me by cricketing buddies (anyone else here into cricket??), but i thought it was too long to use online

I was working on it before you came to the program.

NoSubEDU

NoSub is the easy part.

EDU = education, which is an institution.

NoSub = No Sub + institution = No Substitute

Lame, I know...

I dealt with it outside of California,--at the government level. Not in industry. But then, that was in the 70s.

Sounds like you're confusing what you worked on with what I worked on. And it sounds like you're memory is not serving you well. This was a technological break-through program and I was at the front end of the R&D effort in the late 80s before any units were ever built, and before governmental procurement got involved.
