because it's daddy's car. not mommy's car. not a family car. it's a special car for daddy after having two kids and moving out of the city only to find out we we're going to have a third kid. we were supposed to take a year off from having another baby. when my wife broke the news that she was pregnant again, she specifically said, 'you can still get your car'. so i did.

I may not be hanging around here all that much any longer, sans a p-car.
Here's a thread to help you guys get to know each other better and help build some bonds.

Who said you needed a P-car to chat. Beside, needed you here to keep the newbies in ck and to provide some a**hole opinions once in a while.... Just kidding!! Nothing is that bad Ben.. It may look dim at the moment. You will weather through it unless you give up and let the dark side take over...
I was in a dismal situations for the past two years. All my construction project went south. Lost closed to $500k within six months. Lawyers letters left and right. Mech Lien come in like promotional flyers... Have to face one customer in front of a lawyer that I mis-manage their construction funds etc. On top of it, my wife wanted to leave me. Son's academic is faultering. Life at that point was very very dismal. Wanted to ended all in what I like to do the most, driving my P-car. Dam car wouldn't flip, took it up to redline past 170's but it just hug the road. I felt pity and sorry for myself. Didn't drive my P-car for months. Ashame of it because I have no money to buy gas... It was ****ty!!! That's was early part of the year. Luckily, with help from my family, I was able to weather it through. I'm not making as much as before, but I'm able to put gas in my car now. Got to put away your ego if you have one. Swallow your pride and retool yourself. Reconnect with your contacts. Work it out with your spouse. Opportunity will knock and you will be back on your feet again. Good Luck!!!
BTW, MyEmily I named my car Emily. Kind of cheesy. Took it from Nick Cage's "Gone in Sixty seconds" His car was Eleanor. and My Girlfriend from College is also named Emily and she have a nice A** like my P-Car and she was fun to ride too...
