mattipuh is my initial email user name from university. It is my first nime + first initials of my last name. Refers distantly to Winnie the Pooh aswell, 'cos in Finland it's called Nalle Puh ("Bear Pooh").

da hapa is "pidgin" English for someone who is half hawaiian/half not. That would describe me.

I was wondering about that. Someone can also be hapa haole.

Vexed from vex or vexing or vexatious, to irritate, harass or annoy. I have been using it since 2001. I don't remember why I chose it but thought it was appropriate.

Same/same... many find the term haole derogatory. As a hapa haole myself, it gives me no heartache to use or hear the word but out of respect for others... Da Hapa is much easier!

My daughter is hapa haole I am 100% haole and ok with it. There is a case from our local civil rights agency ruling that calling someone a haole is ok but calling them a "f-----g" haole is not.

No thread jack meant.

The painfully obvious.

(I'm strongly considering a MY2010 997 coupe with ordering a car like I'd done with the 993. Have I lost my mind?)

Alfaguy2

Well there must be an 'Alfaguy already registered here as I am Alfaguy on all forums but that was taken.

As the name suggests my first love is Alfa Romeo's - even though I love most cars including Porsche. I only have two Alfa's these days - both Alfasuds (never available in the US)

Here is my pristine 1978 1.3Ti.
