Only A Couple Of Hours 'til Delivery
My Salesman is picking me up in just over an hour to take me to the dealership for delivery of my 2006 997S!!! It is finally here after approximately a 3 1/2 month wait. I think the hardest part was the time between the car being completed and now. What made it even worse was not being able to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather we have been having here in the Northeast. Hopefully it will hold and I can get a several weeks of driving in before putting the car away for the winter.
Here are the specs: Arctic Silver/Black, Sport Design Wheels, Power Seats, Heated Seats, Bose Stereo, CD Changer, Self Dimming Mirrors, Crests in the Headrests, Colored Crest Center Caps, and Clear Side Markers (Dealer Installed).

Good luck. I remember how exiciting it was when I picked my car up. When I was driving it home it was if I was the only car on the road. I truly was in heaven.

The first two days have been pretty amazing. It is such a different feel from both behind the wheel and outside from what my E46 M3 was. To best sum it up I was driving down the street yesterday and this boy (probably 12 or so) was walking his dog towards the direction I was coming from - he stopped dead in his tracks to watch the 911 go by. I could see out of the rear view mirror that he had turned all the way around and watched me drive off. That is a big piece of what it is all about - the fantasy of owning a car like this. I can remember when I was about that kids age sitting in my mom's car inline at the bank drive through and in front of us was this loud, rumbling 911 (early 70's). That image has stuck with me for close to 30 years and now I am finally living it.
As far as pictures go I could use some help. I tried to post some but I kept getting messages that the attachments are too large. Do I need to take lower resolution pictures to be able to load them to this site (I tried zipping them as well)? Thanks!

Hi Anthony,
I just had the same problem.
OCBen's idea worked well. Here it is:
If you're using Windows, there is no easier and better pic resizing tool than the freebie, Microsoft Paint.
1. Right mouse click the file and select Open with Microsoft Paint.
2. Click on Image and select Stretch/Skew from the menu.
3. In the Stretch box just select the percentage reduction you want. Just make sure Horizontal & Vertical values are the same.
4. If the amount is not right, just Undo (Cntrl Z) and select again.
5. Do a File Save As with a different name to preserve your original file.
Good luck...can't wait to see pics.
