Default 2005 to 2006 Year over Year Changes

Anyone know what changes are being made to the 997 between 2005 and 2006? Besides the addition of the C4's?

Thanks,
David

Only a few new options, like TPMS and bi-color interior. The X51 power package is supposed to become available in 2006.

Bi-color interior....not likley in the US... Just came back from a special factory and the question of interior options was addressed... and it is a mystery to AG why PCNA seemingly refuses to release interior custom tailoring options...for example deviating stitching has been available for the 997 for '05 in the ROW but not NA...why??? PCNA decides NO

Knowing Porsche the X51 will be way over priced for what you get. Probably way over $10K for what, 30hp?

It's listed as $10,400 and 381 HP on the Euro Options list.

The Euro options list (http://www.autocarrera.com/attachments/hin_en_2006.pdf) also has a couple of other interesting additions:

"Extended Navigation module for PCM" and
"19" SportEvo wheel"

Anyone have any idea what these are? I've been waiting for some new wheel options so I am eager to see this design.

My dealer just had a Seal Gray Boxster S in with bi-color interior in gray and black, center console in Seal Gray, and Seal Gray painted 19" wheels. The whole thing looked WAY cool and was on the floor for all of 24 hours before it was sold.

Net.Net bi-color IS available in the US

I'm not absolutely positive, but it looks like there is a small change on the Bi-Xenon lenses. The bottom interior seems a little different, it is not totally chrome anymore.

I had my lenses changed last week, as it developed cracks on the inside (no, nothing to do with rocks or so, just bad batch and bad quality control I think). The new once have a part which is not chrome at the bottom. To my recollection (which can be wrong) it was totally chrome.

Other than a few options I betcha there's zero changes from 05-06. Think of the work load over at Porsche! Completely new 997 and all those variations (cab, turbo, c4). All those new model problems they have to fix ASAP. WOW

I just placed my order and there were no other options listed that were not available in 05. Carlos from Spain said that tire pressure monitoring system was available there, but not on the list here. Too bad as he said it works very well.

Shoot a phone call right back to your sales guy! TPMS *IS* available: I have it on my order (USA 997S, "July-build").

Has anyone seen the 2006 U.S. order guide yet. I have the 2005 but my Porsche salesman says the 06 guide not out yet.

Thanks.

I'll bet that there have been too many screw ups so PCNA said forget it with these added options.
