Default What were your odometer miles at delivery?

What odometer miles shown at delivery for those of you who have taken new (non-demo) 997 cars.

Also, I have seen conflicting reports on the following: is it true that all new Porsche odometers are "reset" upon arrival at their U.S. port?

Related point to the above "reset" status: if a dealer were to represent a 997C2 with odometer showing 19 miles as not having been driven by anyone--neither staff nor customers-- since the car's shipment to the dealer, is this plausible?

Reason for asking- I am contemplating the purchase of a vehicle from inventory instead of waiting until July.

thanks for any feedback.

Tina

It is against Federal Law to alter the odemeter in anyway without express written reason and documentation to purchaser. So does that mean that they were not altered? Have no idea.

Odometers NOT are "reset" The mileage shown is true.

Related point to the above "reset" status: if a dealer were to represent a 997C2 with odometer showing 19 miles as not having been driven by anyone--neither staff nor customers-- since the car's shipment to the dealer, is this plausible?

26 on my 997S. The dealer probably put 4-6 miles on it since their service facility was (temporarily) a couple miles up the road from the showroom; assume there was one round trip. I bought it on launch day and I'm pretty sure nobody else had a test drive.
