Someone keyed my new car. About a 18 inch scratch on the right fender.

You gotta be kidding. That p*sses me off, and it's not even my car.

Bunch of a-holes out there in the world... I can't summon the words to properly describe such a cretin.

Angry That is soooo wrong!

That is absolutely wrong!!! I am very sorry to hear this happened to you... My stomach turned when I read your post.
Just know that those freaking punks will get their day sooner or later.

Did the damage get to the base coat and/or caused an indentation on the surface? If it has remained superficial you may want to try a product I have tried in the past to fix surface scratches and paint chips: http://www.autovisuals.com

I have no affiliation with them I just know their product works very well. They have an extensive database of Porsche paint codes, and will match any code. I even had them provide me with the tough to find GT Silver for my car.

All the best!

Who was it that said something like "The truest form of jealousy and Envy is "If I can't have it, I don't want him/her to enjoy it"

The scratch has breached the paint. You cen feel the ridge with your nail. I plan to go to the dealer when next week and see what suggestions they have. I had the car 8 days before this was done. I was furious.

The only thing that made me feel better was I took the car out for a drive this morning. The ironic thing is I replaced my 99 C4 cab partially because it was black and I was so particular about keeping the car looking right. Arctic silver seemed like the perfect solution.

don't worry theres many ways to fix surface scratches, hopefully you don't need any sort of large scale paintwork done.

good luck

Very sorry to hear about this....what warped idiots do this crap?

A top notch Porsche repair specialist should have you back up to speed in no time. Find the right shop, see their work, get references, and just give them the time to do it right.

Best of luck man.
