Default PDK update

Hi,

Coming from the 987 forum but no one really gave me an answer so i am trying my luck here.

So I have been reading that there was a software update for our pdks. I cant find much info on it however. How do I know if it was installed (I have PIWIS III) and what does it do? Also when Launch control is used i dont have the 1.5mile lockout it just does it again back to back.

Is this some sort of Casper the ghost / Halloween humor?

I think you’ll need to find a shop that’s connected to Porsche software the PDK info is proprietary
plus if there’s nothing wrong with it why fu**with it
a very expensive piece to explore in it

Well sadly there is something wrong with it. My shifting from 5th to 6th at low rpm with much throttle (in drive and manual) stumbles as if it drops the clutch. The small calibration procedure doesnt work. yet the pdk doesnt show any error codes after. Launch control doesnt do the 1.5 mile lock out and doesnt really work. Starting with 10% throttle gives better times then launch control

Suspect you may be referring to the Sport Plus recall which primarily changed the Sport Plus WOT shift. If your car does not have Sport Chrono then it is NA. The ECU and/or the PDK should have a record of the recall update. Since I track my 2013 I declined the recall.
