Installed mine today and did the steering column mount since I don't have SC in my 997. Superb kit with exceptionally clear directions, and it works just like it should. I used the PASM double click interface since my car has PASM.
Of course I had to do something slightly different and rather than wedging the plastic control box in above the carpeted fuse panel surround, I saw this metal bracket that's in exactly the right spot for the box, so adhered a neodymium magnet to the case with 3M trim tape, and the magnet sticks to the metal bracket, so very secure, hut easily removable if I need to get inside the box to the jumpers.
Gauge holder works well on the steering column and doesn't block any of the gauges.
This is the metal bracket in that area
Magnet adhered to the control box
Held in position by the magnet
Gauge on steering column
Power up test
Fuse panel with all connections made
All buttoned up
Took it on a test drive so the next pics are warm up progress where you can see what the car gauges show vs the new gauge.
I wanted the voltage option on this gauge because I think I may have a charging system issue, which would suck, because replacing the alternator in this car with the supercharger is not fun.
The battery in this car did go completely dead when one of my Battery Tenders failed and I'm wondering if the lower charging voltage in seeing might be a battery problem. I may swap it for a different one and see if it behaves any differently.
The car turns over super string even after driving it for an hour which I wouldn't think would be the case if it wasn't charging.
