Amazing! Thank you for working on this additional method.

I'm hoping to get a new 3D printer and will try my hand at creating a vent fin replacement with a built in surround for the gauge. Would you by chance have a blank pcb, or when I order this one, you can sell me a second pcb with a screen for testing fitment?

Thank You!
If you order one (when it's available) I can throw in one for free.
But if you want one separately I would have to charge you for the costs of parts & shipping.
Contact me directly at czulrich AT gmail DOT com and we can work something out

a quick update for everyone interested:
The "standalone gauge" is in Beta test now, and I already got some valuable feedback and some great ideas from the testers.
One of the ideas was to add a 3rd option for the gauge.
I created a gauge that sits below the tachometer and is almost non intrusive (see pictures).
And the final update is that I decided that I will offer it for the same price as the SportChrono gauge (because I like to keep things simple)

Damn, that makes a great location for that gauge. Almost tempting to make that the default option for all cases regardless of having SC or not.

Default 2010 997.2 turbo?

I’ve read this thread a number of times. Are these the correct conclusions? The 2010 tt does not have the Mezger engine. Therefore, this wart gauge display will work.

I don’t see my car in the list.

I installed the auto on light in this car and it’s is perfect!

That is a great option, sanded smooth with some black paint to match the trim would be a nice OEM+ touch for the end user to complete.

I just released V1.1 of the SportChrono replacement gauge.
Main changes/improvements:
a) general performance improvements
b) added several new clock faces that can be selected during startup
