TPMS Disable Instructions
A lot of us have gotten frustrated with the 997 TPMS functionality. Sometimes it works and many times not.
I plan to have my Indy disable/disconnect my TPMS this spring.
A fellow member wrote out the instructions for disasbling the TPMA and it's buried in a Thread so thought I would post it here:

I don't understand why the 997 TPMS is so unreliable 80% of the time and throwing warnings on dash. EVen after changing them out for new. I've experienced this in a few of my 997's that had the feature.
My Mercedes TPMS in SUV and wife's sedan have worked flawlessly for years.

Great info Graufuchs---->HAd no idea original PCM would be needed to disable but makes sense for communication..

Will get this done and confirm today or tomorrow. Going to try and use my Autel MP801, which allowed me to kill the majority of the TMPS monitors, just not the PCM side. (Audio)

If the TPMS warning could be turned off w/steering column stalk I could live with it.
But not having ability to turn off the Yellow Tire and Red !warningmakes it a must to get rid of.

I can confirm being able to do the TPMS coding with a Foxwell NT530.
