Default 2006 Porsche 911 coupe tiptronic price opinion

Okay so I’m interested in a yellow 911 coupe not many options other than it’s a nice color in my opinion good condition has 93,000 miles California ca it is a tiptronic so I’m assuming that hurts value a bit 4 owners no accidents clean title
I can get it for $25,500 what do you guys think about the price ?

That is pretty inexpensive. Good price if it is in good condition.

That's priced well if it's a clean and not salvage title and doesn't have a bunch of deferred maintenance plugs, coils, water pump, brakes, etc).

The things that make the price so low are AWD vs preferred RWD, base car vs S, and of course the Tiptronic trans. If it checks out and you like it, that's a great price to get into a 997 and have some fun.

Have you done a Bore Scope Inspection?? ----->Highly recommended and Bore Scoring/Deferred maintenance could be reason for a steal of a price.
Also important are Cam Deviation numbers - Have you had a PPI and computer DME reading??

Agree with everyone else. That’s a great price if you don’t mind the automatic transmission.

997's and Porsche's in general can suffer big costs if car has not been maintained properly
Caution should be used buying a 997 for $25K - Something doesn't smell right unless seller has dementia
Make sure you do indepth PPI/BSI
Check back with results.

There are always deals around , especially on base cars . If it checks out don't be scared . These cars aren't time bombs . They are high performance , reliable vehicles . High output cars need service and expire after a certain point .
The cars are very reliable and high performance , this gives a false sense of life time flawless service ? Performance comes at a price . Porsche reliability is very high over all , hence the hype .
