In got white wheels white car with a machined lip, if you go white make sure its ceramic coated. Even still i make sure they get washed every two weeks if not every week. Anythings better than black on black imo.
And use good ceramic, xpel makes a rim specific ceramic called fusion. Im 4 months into in and pretty impressed. I just bought a set of old rs4 wheels for my s4. Had fully refinished ceramic coated and something new i haven't heard of yet... life time tire shine. I was charged an extra 100 for it but it comes with a 7 year warranty. I'm taking the porsche back to have that done. Go white it's cool, or even a nice bronze or nickel finish would be cool. Look at prismatic powders and find something you like. I even made my own color on the audi wheels. A little darker than porsche liquid metal metallic from the 918 and a little lighter than hypersilver. Skys the limit man.
Doesn't sound like an attractive look to me. The only time I like white wheels is on a white car and actually want machines or polished accents on the wheels too - not solid white.
For example
That's not a good example. When I saw this white 997 on white Meisters with a polished lip (overlook the stance), I was going to put a deposit on a set. It look really good!
Just like the GT3 RS 4.0, white on white looks good on the 997 just like this Turbo
Yeah, have to overlook the stance on that one for sure, and the faces are actually too deep into the barell for.my taste too, but that's the look that works - white centers with polished lips.
@63mercedes did it recently with some custom eBay speedline replicas and it turned out great.

Those look nice but the fitment looks like a NB. One a 4S, you can get a little more concave.
Work has lower offsets and the double stepped lip can make it look deeper.
