Default White wheels on black 997.1

Was curious if anyone has gone down this route by chance? Haven’t been able to find much in my search but contemplating doing something of a retro “tuxedo” black and white look with some all white Fuchs style 18’s on my 997.1 c2 NB.

Thoughts?
Thanks!!

"Retro Tuxedo look?? My thoughts are it sounds peculiar.

Doesn't sound like an attractive look to me. The only time I like white wheels is on a white car and actually want machines or polished accents on the wheels too - not solid white.

For example

Why not. It sounds like a fun combo. Here's a black 964 with white Cup wheels.

I like the contrast but could see how more traditionalists may not.

However, it’s your car! I say it only matters what you like.

Go for it!

I am a big fan of white wheels and I think they look great on a black car! Far better than a black wheel on literally any color of any car...

My buddy has an 89 928 GT that is black and he had Cup 1s powder coated white on it. It looks fantastic. I wouldn’t have thought so until I saw it.

If that is your vision , why not ! A contrasting wheel is always sharp !

Bring some pasha into the cabin and you are future /retro (if there is such a thing )

Been eyeing these Fuchs style wheels. Not sure fitament will work though (18x10f and 18x12r) but thinking it might be an interesting retro futuristic look combined with a flying ducktail? Not too dissimilar from this black gold 997 below

The only big negative I see, is keeping them clean. Could be a full time job even with ceramic pads
