Had a set of 19” OZ Ultraleggera wheels fitted yesterday, but can’t help but feel like there’s something missing.
Spacers? Aerokit? Lower a tad more? I am on coilovers so I can always fine tune the ride height.
I want to focus on driver enhancement mods, but don’t mind spending a bit getting the car more to my taste.
I’m coming from 4 years in a 991.1, which only required lowering the suspension from an aesthetic standpoint, though the driver engagement wasn’t there for me.

I’d put Porsche colored center caps on if you can. Will help break up all the black. Then red/yellow calipers. Could also look into making taillights all red, liked that look on my prior black 997.1.
Height looks great. Rear could use 10-15mm spacers to make flush.
Possibly a light tint but too dark and it could be too much.
I was thinking the same as Neville. Black wheels, black car. Then the white headlights, taillights, clear corners and fog lights stick out like a sore thumb. Red calipers would bring some pop to it. Maybe an EMC2 lip spoiler?
I ordered a GT3TEK front lip last week and plan to install it soon. Love the 991 lip also but wanted a lip that wraps all the way around.
Here’s a before photo. The contrast was nice, but the OEM Turbo II wheels look large.
I do like the BBS E88’s in silver, but I’m not inclined to spend 2 years on waitlist and $9K in cash.
The OZ’s are quality lightweight wheels and I do like the design. I thought about refinishing them in Weiss gold but I think that color may lend itself better to wheels with thicker spokes.
If you guys have any suggestions or photos of nice 19” wheels, I’m open to hear them out.
Even better, photos of OZ Ultraleggaras (on 997s) in other colors would be much appreciated.

It's the wheels for me. I don't like black wheels in general, especially on a black car. Sometimes I don't mind them on a white car if the lip is polished and there are other black accents on the car or if the facws od the spokes are machined to create contrast, but as you say, the OZ spokes are too thin for this treatment and will look dainty instead of aggressive.
A brownish (not gold) hue of bronze wheels looks good on black, as do silver or polished.
Agreed about black on black on black- paint, wheels, interior. I'd throw out the recommendations on tint and lip spoilers- more black! Seems to me to just hide all details of the car's exterior, but, you know what you like so I wouldn't argue with you about it. Rear spacers sound like a good idea.
I initially had silver Carrera classic wheels on my car and added a Martini stripe. Added APEX anthracite wheels this year. Just enough contrast for me and a 30 lb weight savings.
The grey/anthracite wheels against the black car will look better like the poster above. Contrast that with red calipers and it’s even better. Black wheels with a black car doesn’t work, as you need some contrast. It looks like you have 4 spare wheels on the car right now.

To my eye the car could stand to be lowered a touch, and likely add spacers to fit the wheels properly once dropped.
But it's the wheel color. Black rims need the right car to not look boy racer, black rims on a black car with black everything is either your jam or it's not, there's no middle ground. Gunmetal, anthracite, bronze, matte silver, even a satin gold would pop on this car in ways black never will.

Another opinion which is pretty much the norm when it comes to subjective matters like colors and style. A different opinion for each post. I agree with Petza that black wheels on a black car is too much black in one package. Needs some contrast or the wheels kind of get lost. Bright silver is too much contrast for me on a black car so what about splitting the difference?
The color of my Forgelines was called "Midnight Silver" when produced. I don't think they offer that color anymore but it's basically what many would just call "gunmetal". Or to keep it simple, a blend of black and silver. Works for me on a black car. Not the blistering contrast of a silver wheel and not the black hole black wheels create on a black car but just enough contrast.
