Thoughts on the 997 market going forward?

Agree the gap is not $25K. As workhurts pointed out we might be looking at a 1-year gap vs. a 6-year gap. Indeed, Excellence grouped 2006-08 C4S and came up with $55K, then grouped the 2009-12 C4S and came up with $80K. So, I believe the gap can be explained by their grouping of the model years, for example, 2006 vs. 2012. Full disclosure, I currently have a 2008 C4 S manual coupe with 24,000 miles, highly optioned, clean PPI, bore score results and compression test. I have no plan to sell the car but find it difficult to think it's $25K less in market value than a 2009 car. Perhaps the point is the market cannot and will not be predicted/predictable.

Not 25k swing on a 08-09, but 10-15k, forsure.. the 9a1 is a huge item for me.. I sleep better at night having the .2. I made so much off the GT3, the extra cost didn’t even phase me

Non GTS 997.2s aren't selling for anywhere near $80k. That's where the discrepancy in their pricing spread is coming from.
