Congrats.
Not sure about 997.1, but on 997.2 PSE is part of X51

Thank you very much, still haven't driven yet due to winter tires not yet here, but so excepted. It does have the PSE. Looking for the original wheels as well.

Wow, Congrats! The build sheet is very impressive.

What is this option:
09971 Custom Tailoring "Zuenhausen"

Thank you and indeed i didn't know. I didn't notice the steering wheel being thicker... While I contemplated changing it I won't for now, maybe just rewrap in newer leather. Engine seems a big more vocal than my 997.2 C4 with PSE option. Maybe the X51 effect? I saw a few pieces of leather that needed help or even changes. I will still start with door trims. Ordered a car seat for my tiny 3yo, my old ones don't fit. Seems the cab is narrower at the back compared to the coupe.
Now looking for the original rims...

X51 has different headers, so that contributes the more vocal sound you're hearing. Maybe different intake runners as well, but not 100% sure.

I have driven a bit more. I love the sound, a lot nicer to me than my old 997.2 with PSE.
But I am facing a few issues the seller with fix (hopefully). small puncture in a CV boots + issue with a seal between gearbox and transfer box, windshield washer pump seems dead, rear defrost as well, etc. Also working on ways to make the tiptronic a bit more modern in how it is behaving (won't get PDK results I know)
I also need to change the Xenon light, I tried to pop the headlights but somehow they haven't moved on either side. I will try again later (been using the tool provided) and I need to replace the DRL/fog bulbs, but now it's flickering using LED. Might revert back to OEM bulb.
I would like to change my steering wheel to a more modern one allowing multifunctions + paddles.
Wanna replace with a PCCM Plus but I wanna keep the body colored trim as it was an original option.

Sounds like you have a clear list to work through. I have never experience Finnish winters but I bet it's a good opportunity to get the car all sorted out before you can properly enjoy it next spring

Just done the xenon light but the "glass cover" which is probably not glass would need to be changed. Seems it got opaque from the inside... Curious, I read the threads on wheels, what do you guys use? Also damn rattle in the car but could be the cold... will put vaseline on the doors.

Just saw this thread over on the 997TT forum, which seems to be exactly the info you're after: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-turb...for-paint.html

Thanks a lot! Indeed that's what I wanted. Small country here so either I ask my PC to do it (even though quality isn't always there but price certainly is...) or I find a nice high end shop like that guy... wonder if I could do other parts as well while I am at it... Time for a to do list... and on the hunt for a Macan wheel now.
