So.....I get a Fed EX package yesterday......it was from Porsche Financial Services, Inc. saying "Due to continued volatility in the insurance market, Porsche Auto Insurance has paused its program. They are sorry for the inconvenience and enclose an American Express Card with $500 as their customers are of upmost importance. Along with it came a nice quality small credit card wallet from Porsche Design.
A class move on their part.....let's see if they renew the program with new underwriter as told over the phone.........

i have safeco for all of my insurance needs. Safeco provides me a stated insurance policy for both of my sports cars and required a written reason for why but didn't say no and in both cases the coverage is cheap and i get 5000 miles a year of usage and can drive the car to work, stores, etc.

Stated Value makes you think you have value protection that you actually don't.

Allstate has agreed value on my auto policy's.
Also market value replacement for our House & Landlord Rental Policy's. If house burns down they replace at current market value and include increase costs building code upgrades for rebuild.

Thank you I learned something today. I did just check the email history from my broker and he specifically called it agreed value and since I bought my car on bring a trailer it was pretty easy to show the FMV on my car.
