yes, you are right and I do that now. That was my first time using my QJs. I did test it out and was pretty stable but nonetheless, I don’t use them that way now.

New update. PDK gear oil time! Harbor Freight fluid pumps are the best for single use.

I respect that you did this yourself. How did it go? Just measured the amount you took out and replaced that exact amount? Do you have access to PWIS?

I am thinking about taking this on as well but I haven’t convinced myself yet.

Thank you! It went really smooth with no surprises but this is the easier of the two PDK services. This is just the differential side of the PDK which is a simple drain and refill. I did measure both - 3L exactly out and back in. The procedure shows letting it dribble out of the fill hole and sealing it back up.

I haven’t done the trans side yet. Thats the procedure where you replace the PDK oil pan and need PIWIS or a Foxwell to activate a fill procedure. I will be doing this one in the coming months.

Check out Pelican parts tutorial for the PDK oil changes. They make it look easy.
