I got them and just installed over the weekend. It really stiffened up the car over the old ones and the exhaust is back to a regular height. The car feels really tight.

But overall, I think I'm done with HT parts. I've used their strut mounts on a 986 (which was a disaster) as well as on a newer Golf R (one of those was also defective). I won't be buying HT parts any more.

I just had mine installed and they are perfect. They are firm but do not add any addition NVH. I paid $650 for the kit from Germany.

I used the larger washers from Porsche.

Nice, renew! I'm debating between these and FF.

I went through the same thought process and bought both sets. From what I gather they perform very similarity.

if you need a set, I will be selling the unused FF set soon.

I bought new FF and driven 200 miles. It's still too rough for me, I want to switch back to OEM.

I’m surprised to hear that because I cannot feel any additional NVH at all. Are you getting vibrations at certain RPMs?

Maybe it needs to break in. Drive it for while and it might soften up a little.

Me. I went from stock mounts, with about 60k miles on them, to Rennline mounts with yellow inserts for my 2012 Carrera GTS. I didn't like the additional cabin resonance that occurred at ~3100 RPM, which coincides with a "fast cruise speed". Third party research has shown that stiffer engine mount can cause interference with knock sensor operation and timing advance to be pulled, though this effect is only documented in 997.1 cars, AFAIK. I spoke to TPC racing about it and they suggested the non-dynamic 997.2 GT3 mounts (pn 980-375-351-03) because they're the stiffest mounts Porsche engineered for the car. The non-dynamic mounts are fluid filled, BTW. I replaced the Rennline mounts with non-dynamic GT3 mounts and the resonances went away and the car feels just as responsive.

Hype. Thanks for the detail! That's exactly what I understood and what I'll plan to do. Thanks so much for sharing the part number @///Malcontent

I didn't realize the GT3 mounts were fluid-filled as well, though. Regardless, seems like a great solution.

As far as I know these are hydraulic mounts (not suitable for the non-hydraulic version 997.2)

I have just ordered a new set these off the link you provided, cheap @$117usd for the pair. thanks @997ajk

I already have RS mounts on my .2 C2S, but they have started to sack out, so newbys are on the way.

Thanks!

BTW, has anyone opened a stock engine mount to see what's inside?

I might cut the lid off one for a look.

Just wondering if new parts like a custom cast poly bush could be retrofitted.

One would probably have to burn out the existing rubber first and clean it out before designing a new poly groupset.

People have reported that the URO mounts don’t last long. How long have you had them on your C2S?
