Here you go, looks like a logo is defaced/removed on the upper decal (same on both). Box states they are manufactured in Czech Republic (same as OE).

Perfect! Thank you! Mine look the same. The manufacture date is the same as well.

Bought mounts from eeuroparts.com, showed to be from O.E.M Parts, but boxes showed made in Czech Republic and looked identical to what I took off. Did the Windo Weld urethane mod as outlined by Car Fanatic / dc2000. Tightened and smoothed out shifting and completely eliminated the knotchiness I sometimes had getting into first gear. Brought my exhaust tips up nicely. Added a bit of seat vibration at idle but no other NVH noticed.

The internet at its best.
I'm a french model by the wsy.
This is really bugging me -- I want to pull the trigger on some function first engine mounts but am concerned about knock. Has anyone got proof on this?

If not what would be the easiest way to go about this? Datalog with something like a Cobb Accessport before and after, looking for ECU reports of knock?

I have FF engine mounts and have had absolutely zero knock sensor issues on my 11 C2S (997.2)

Great! Can you elaborate how exactly you checked, @anewman?

I'm just gonna go OEM, i don't need firmer and surely brand spanking new OEM or OEM equivalent will be a ton better than the 13 yr old mounts I have now. NVH is already more prevalent in the cab.

Another data point - I installed Rennline engine mounts with the yellow (softest) inserts in my 997.2 Carrera GTS. Afterwards, I had the car tuned by TPC Racing through a Cobb Accessport. They thought the mounts could result in knock issues and result in timing pulled. If I wanted stiffer mounts, they recommended GT3 mounts (non-dynamic, of course) since those would be the stiffest mount Porsche engineered without inducing knock sensor/timing issues. It turned out the Rennline mounts did NOT result in knock sensor/timing issues. TPC logged it through the Accessport but I haven't checked to verify.

All that said, I ended up installing the GT3 mounts (PN 980 375 351 02) anyway because I didn't like the resonance the Rennline mounts induced in the cabin. The GT3 mounts are perfect.

Do you have a link on where to purchase the GT3 mounts? I've been searching and it doesn't come up anywhere. Thanks!

Not sure why it didn't show up in Google searches, but direct search into FCP Euro came up with them:

Yes, that would be $405 per side.
