Have a direct link to the leather? Couldn’t find it on the website.

Looks like this is the item: https://www.cartopsplus.com/Automoti...bossed-Leather

It doesn't show cost, what did you pay for your 3ish yards?

There are two options of OEM, the Cxx option have contrasting stitching and in my opinion are better looking.

Default Door trapezoid trim piece

Door trapezoid trim piece, I wanted to cover this piece because it looks so plain and boring. It measures 14 x 4 CM. Get a piece of leather adding two or three CM to each edge. If you don’t want a seam, you can just glue it on at this point and it looks great. If you want a seam, cut the leather lengthwise and place good edge facing good edge. Sew a seam lengthwise of about half an inch. Open the leather up and flatten. Then sew a French seam about 1/8 inch from the seam. Glue on the leather piece to the trim piece placing the seam about halfway on the trapezoid.

installed

French seam

Decided to try my hand as well. I ordered a half hide and started with my light and ignition switch trims. They were all scratched up and needed some new life. Took a lot of fiddling and practice stitching (all done by hand with no machine) but

I'm happy with the results.

Fuse cover. This one was a little more complicated to get right.

Nicely done. it looks easy but that circle is hard to cut, fold n sew. Plus if rhe edges aren’t perfect the cover wont close right. Keep going you are on a roll!

Thanks! Yeah I just kinda winged it for the shape. Traced it onto painters tape and went for it. I didn't have any issues reinstalling it thankfully.

Went with the same style on the door trapezoid but tried to prevent having a seam 'bump'.

This part was covered in carpet but I switched it to leather.

I'm working on my vertical radio trims now.

very nice indeed. nice even top stitch. 3/16 inch?? the lateral radio piece is a little tricky. the long seam is actually curved though it looks straight and the corner is hard to get perfect. i would be interested to see some pics of your process as i am not happy with they way mine turned out.
