Yep, I live in south florida and would never buy a porsche down here unless it was new from champion or a one owner guy who babied it with 4 other super cars. It's scary down here.

Sucks buying a Porsche sometimes. I paid for 3 PPI's before I bought my first car. That was close to $1,000 before a single dollar changed hands for a car. Ironically, the last PPI I paid for was the cheapest and the car was in such good shape, all they really had to to was take pictures of the tiny superficial aesthetic dings. I paid a premium for that car though.
Me too
I did 3 PPI's and 2 Bore Scope Inspections at $1250 last year before finding my current 2006 C4.
Not fun to spend that extra cash but well worth it in the end.

I've seen some ugly oxidation on cars living in Florida especially by the ocean. That corrosion gets the brakes/engine case/suspension.
You haven't seen "SWEET" until you move out or shop out west and own California Cars. Nothing like it.
Even cars from AZ can have badly damaged/warping interior trim/dash from the extreme heat.

I guess I lucked out. Bought a 2009 C4S launch car with just over 2,000 miles on it from Champion Porsche in Pompano Beach. In like new condition and CPO'd. They allowed a PPI which was done by a reputable independent nearby. No issues. They also gave me more than I expected for my 2006 C4S trade in with around 45K miles on it which they basically just walked around with a paint meter. Didn't even drive it. Clutch was getting very heavy so I'm sure they had to replace it before re-selling.

Hello there! It's great that you're seeking assistance with interpreting the pre-purchase inspection (PPI) report for the used 997.2 you're considering. Unfortunately, as an AI language model, I'm unable to view or analyze attached images directly. However, I can certainly offer guidance based on general knowledge.

When reviewing a PPI report, it's important to carefully examine the findings of the inspection. Look for any significant issues or potential red flags that may affect the condition or performance of the vehicle. Pay attention to items such as mechanical components, electrical systems, body condition, and any recommended repairs or maintenance.

If you have specific questions or concerns about the report, feel free to provide some details or specific areas you'd like feedback on. Additionally, it's often recommended to have a trusted mechanic or automotive specialist review the PPI report for a more accurate assessment.
