The battery in my 2006 Carrera S died this week. I recharged it and now I have an airbag warning light.
I purchased it used (it's high milage) and someone else's pre-inspection that I got a hold of before buying also showed the light on. When I received it a year ago it was not (and has not gone on since).
Any advice? Is this common? Any simple diagnostics or solutions, or should I just take it to 'my guy'?
I just bought an iCarSoft POR II from Amazon and was able to clear my airbag light. It's a lot cheaper than a Durametric. I would give that a shot. And really, it's not a bad thing to have a diagnostic tool around with cars this old
