I have ordered from them a few times and they are good. They have good prices and reasonable customer service. Not the fastest shipping but it is in line with other auto part stores. I usually buy stuff there when I can't find at FCP Euro.
good to know... i tried them out and actually their prices were ok. delivery was also ok.. was just concerned with a part that did conform to the part number i ordered, maybe my innocence on part numbers, and it looked discolored and aged, but new. you guys know what im saying... im sure they are on top of these things... just wanted some feedback from people who have tried them...
They use to be a small, couple bay shop based out of Ohio. I would go to their location when I had an Audi for ECU Tuning, before you could flash at home. Not sure if they have expanded shop since then.
It was and still is in my opinion a great outfit. I order alot of my Porsche parts and friends VW/Audi/BMW stuff from them still. Since I am in Ohio, typically next day delivery with great customer service.
I bought a lot of stuff from them in the past for my VWs and some Exhaust tips for my 997.2. There was an issue with the exhaust tips, one was the wrong part #. They made it right quickly.

Read the linked article. Ouch! I have been buying from FCP Euro and I am happy and do not actually use their lifetime policy which I think makes no sense. There are people sending back to FCP Euro empty jugs of oil to get back replacements...
I've bought from ECS. No issues. Don't buy from them much anymore as I typically will buy from either FCP or one of the online Porsche dealer part suppliers or my local dealer.

Same here. I buy from FCP mostly because of their guarantee, but would only use that for a failed hard part, like a water pump, starter, coil packs, etc. I'm not sending them back used oil or worn brake pads as that just seems very wrong morally, even though it's covered by their lifetime warranty.

Yeah, Ive seen people talk about doing that with wiper blades.
I did buy a clutch, flywheel, TB and other assorted clutch parts from them recently for my 997. I paid around $250 more for it then going other retail routes.
I dont know if I will take them up on their lifetime warranty, assuming I have the car then.
I also got a clutch and flywheel for a MK7 GTI from them, sold the car 6 months later. They won on that one.
I use Pelican Parts, ECS and FCP for different situations, though most of my experience is from years of buying parts for older BMWs.
Pelican Parts - Fastest delivery for west coast
ECS - Generally lowest prices
FCP - Parts that I will replace often, or high dollar parts that I don't want to pay for twice.
Never really had issues with any of them. As many have said, ECS doesn't have the fastest delivery. This is the main reason I shop elsewhere at times.
