Not sure need them as regular mirrors work well but wonder if anyone has used them and recommend them.
Ad said professional installation suggested but it seems rather simple to pull out mirror. Do you know if the mirrors on car are auto dimming on 997.2 as need to know when ordering?

If your rear view mirror is auto dimming, so are your side view mirrors.

I like a flat mirror. More than adequate if adjusted correctly. As one of our HPDE classroom instructors is fond of saying, "those mirrors aren't for checking to see what color your car is" LOL

Pretty much this. Aspherics are nice enough, but if you adjust flat mirrors properly you don't need them and won't have blind spots.
Lean your head over so it's almost touching the window, then adjust the left side mirror out until you can just see the body of the car in the right side of the mirror. Then lean to the right and do the same for the right mirror. Cars behind you should move smoothly from the rear view mirror to the side view mirror to your peripheral vision.
Most people were never taught the proper adjustment and angle them way too far in. That's how you wind up with blind spots.

didn't know those were available... I always assumed the only ones sold by suncoast where aspheric and not self dimming due to the low selling price...

I agree you don’t need aspheric mirrors in a Carrera as there are no blind spots but still aspheric mirrors are still going to give you even better coverage. Unfortunately is the price of $725 is too steep for the benefit for me. The parts man at Suncoast said he hated to tell me the price as he was astounded. Regular aspheric mirrors won’t work as replacement.
