If you do any more research on it, keep me posted. At this point, I am not worried about it. If it’s something that can be addressed when I do an LSD or potentially flywheel, I may consider.
Are you guys doing these on .1 or .2 c4's??

.1 c4s. .2s have a similar electronic awd system to the 997 turbos.

I was told you can’t disable the awd system and drive at the limit with the .2’s. However, some spirited driving is fine, just not a track going car

Default Rwd weight reduction

I didn't have a way to capture the grease from the 50 or so rags or remove it from my pants that were ruined so I'd figure another pound for the grease everywhere and a few misc bolts that didn't make the scales bit with the scales reading 67 lbs I feel it's safe to say the delete is a 68 pound reduction. (Performed by re using the axle stubs from the cv).

So in other words it’s free? No other parts needed?

Yes. On my 07 with tiptronic anyway the conversion required no additional parts. I did find a leak on a coolan line that ill fix next time its on the lift (part will be here today) and still neet to order more screws for the rear bottom aero or skid cover (whatever it's called) as I was a few short from re installing it.

Can feel the power increase. I think I'll balance the front tires and get an allignment to see if it helps the loose feeling front end it does pull to the left a little now and seems a little dirty. It may require swapping some suspension components or lowering the front a little to compensate for the lost weight. Part of it is likely just that the front is so much more free to move now. Power drifting seems ok on corners, ill have to take a trip up the mountain and see how she does now on long tight corners.
